Ticking all the boxes of vegan, gluten-free and no-added-sugar, nice cream has been making the waves across the vegan community and even to the likes of VS supermodel Karlie Kloss. We bet that this snack will be making appearances on your Instagram feed as we approach the warmer summer months, so we’re here to give you the lowdown for your future needs.
What’s crazy is that it is so simple to make, that this post may or may not even classify as a recipe! Believe it or not, you can whip up a legitimately rich, silky ice-cream-like consistency, with a single magic ingredient, without the need for any diary, sweeteners or ice cream makers!! What is this so-called wizardry ingredient you ask? Why its the classic, stock standard of fruits: BANANAS! Arguably acting as a better, healthier and easier alternative to banana bread, nice cream is the best way to consume all the ripe bananas lying around your house!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Optional toppings (you can add whatever you fancy): cinnamon sugar, strawberries, cacao powder & coconut chips.
WHAT TO YOU:
It turns out that frozen bananas can be extended past dipping it into a chocolate fondue! Here are the easy steps to making the nice cream!
- Cut bananas into smaller slices
- Pop it in the freezer until solid
- Blend and be amazed!
- Serve with any toppings (if any) on your scoop!
